Dosa is indigenous to and is a staple dish in the southern Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu as well as being popular in Sri Lanka. Dosa is also popular in Malaysia and Singapore, where the name Thosai is more common, and in Myanmar as Toshay.

All you need for the crispy dosa..


Leftover Rice - 1 Cup
Sambar powder
Tomato - 2
Cumin Powder - 1tsp
Coriander Powder - 1tssp
Ginger paste/powder
Curd - 2tsp



Steps..


Grind all the ingredients by adding more water.






Add Sambar powder, salt to taste and mix well. Batter should be little thick.




Heat the doas pan. Pour the batter and spread it equally. When it turns brown, roll the dosa and remove it.

If you feel dosa is very light, you can add little bit of rice flour as well.







Serve this super crispy dosa with your favorite chutney. Your kids will definitely love this.
