Eggs - 1 or 2
Bread - how many rolls you have to make
Mushroom - 1 packet, Finely chopped
Onion - 1, Finely chopped
Green Chilli - 1, Finely chopped

Masala:
Turmeric Powder
Chilli powder
Garam Masala

Steps:

For the mushroom gravy:

1) Heat oil in pan and add mustard seeds.Once mustard seeds splatter, add chopped onion & green chilli and fry until golden brown.

2) Add chopped tomatoes and fry until it becomes watery.

3) Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala & fry for few minutes.

4) Add chopped mushroom to the tomato mixture. We dont need to add water as Mushroom itself will leave water when cooking.

5) Switch off the stove once the mushroom is cooked and the gravy becomes thick.

For the bread roll:

1) Take the bread. Sprinkle little water on it and roll it using poori kattai. Make it as much thin as possible.

2) Keep the mushroom masala in between the bread and stick the edges with the broken egg mixture.

3) Apply the egg mixture in the sides of the bread.

3) Heat Pan and keep the bread roll on it for toasting. Remove from pan when toasted and becomes golden color.

Delicious Vegetable Upuma Briyani

During my school days, when someone asks me what you dont like on earth, then without even thinking for a second, i will answer as 'upuma'. Then i thought of experimenting this dish and make out an delicious, mouth watering recipe. Hence the result. :)

All you need for the delicious and healthy dish..

Carrot, Beans
1/4 Teaspoon turmeric (Haldi)
1/2 Teaspoon biriyani masala
Grated ginger or powdered
Few Curry leaves
3 Red chilli
7 Small onions

Chop the vegetables & tomato and keep it aside.

Heat the oil in the pressure cooker. When hot, add briyani masala. When the aroma rises add the curry leaves, red chillies and onions, one by one.

After few seconds add tomato and cut vegetables and fry it for a minute.

Add 1/4 Teaspoon turmeric (Haldi), 1/2 Teaspoon biriyani masala and Grated ginger or powdered to the vegetables. Mix and fry it in low flame.

After it becomes little watery, check if the raw smell is gone from the vegetables. If not, add some more water and allow the vegetables to cook.

Add ravai and salt to the vegetables and mix it well. Leave it under low flame for few seconds.

Add enough water and cook until upuma is done.

Place the vegetable upuma briyani in a serving dish and garnish with cilantro and cashews. [I personally love to taste this kind of upuma with raitha or plain curd. It tastes awesome.]
