Fried rice is a popular component of Asian cuisine, especially Chinese food, South Asian, and Southeast Asian foods. It is made from steamed rice stir-fried in a wok, often with other ingredients, such as eggs, vegetables, and meat. It is sometimes served as the penultimate dish in Chinese banquets (just before dessert). As a home-cooked dish, fried rice typically is made with leftover ingredients from other dishes, leading to countless variations.


All you need for this easy and tasty - 'Egg Fried Rice' recipe in indian style..

Eggs - 2
Onion - 1/2
Garlic - 2 cloves
Cardamom Powder
Cumin Seeds(Jeera)
Pepper Powder and Seeds
Soy sauce - 2tsp
Chilli sauce - 1tsp
Rice - 2 cups
Salt to taste

Steps..

Add oil in Cooker. When heated, add cumin seeds, 4-5 pepper seeds and cardamom powder.


After few minutes, add the washed rice and water(for 1 cup of rice add 1.5 cups of water).


Add salt to taste and allow the rice to cook.








Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a bowl and allow it to cool for sometime.






Heat oil in another pan. when heated, add the chopped garlic and allow it to fry.







Once garlic is fried, add the chopped onion and allow it to fry until it is golden brown.





Once the onions turn golden brown, break the egg and add it in the pan.





Once the egg is scrambled, add salt to taste(Please note, we have already added salt to the rice when cooking, so make sure you add little salt for the scrambled eggs alone) and mix well.







Keep the heat in sim and add the cooked rice to the scrambled eggs mixture.











Add 2tsp of soy sauce to the fried rice and mix well.













Add 1tsp of chilli sauce to the fried rice and mix well.












Remove from flame. Garnish with your favorite vegetables.
