All you need for this Yummy and Easy Sweet Recipe - Coconut Burfi or Coconut Vadi.
Ghee(or unsalted butter) - 1tbsp
Coconut - 1 Cup(200gms)
Sugar - 1 Cup(200gms)
Cardamom Powder
Steps:
Keep the thick bottomed pan on low flame in the stove. Add 1tbsp of ghee(or Unsalted butter) to the thick bottomed pan.
Add 1Cup(200gms) of grated coconut to it and mix well.
Add 1Cup(200gms) of sugar to it and mix well.
Cook it on a low flame. stir it continuously. Moisture from the coconut will come out and melt the sugar.
After 10-15 minutes of slow cooking, this will become little thicker(when to try to move the mixture with spoon, it will not stick to the bottom, then u can say the mixture is ready). Then add the cardamom powder and mix well. off the stove
Grease a plate with ghee or oil and spread the cooked mixture. For toppings you can add crushed almonds and pista.
Cut into pieces and cool it for 30 minutes!!! Serve & Enjoy this awesome dessert!!
